Shane Coetzee – CEO / Qualified plumber

As Founder, partner and CEO of the business, Shane sets the standard of leading from the front and making sure company culture and moral is evident. Being both Australian and South African qualified in plumbing, he is well respected by his team when it comes to problem solving, knowledge and being the executive. Shane is a driven young entrepreneur, focused on building a plumbing firm that is on time, professional, reliable and honest.

Fun Fact: Shane is a mean machine on the dance floor.

Conor – Qualified Plumber

AKA “Mr Busy” is always ready to work and get things done. A quick  rise to any challenge, Conor works hard to prove he has the ability. Not only is he “Mr Busy” but an idea’s man as well, voicing his opinion and being involved solution-finding. Conor has just become a qualified plumber and very much a part of the growing team.

Fun Fact: Five Foot waves are too small for our “Con-Dwag”

Eliot – Plumbing Operator

Doing plumbing since 1992, Eliot is considered the power of our team. He’s the tank we call in when the team has some resistance on the job. Nothing is too tight for “BIG E”. Blessed with strength, Eliot is our humble BFG.

Fun Fact: BIG E loves horse riding, we’re not sure about the horses.

Patrick – Skilled Plumbing Labourer

As Bongani’s older brother he shares the same streak to go at his work hard. On our team he is Eliot’s right hand man and backup. He loves to tease Conor about having long hair – “Like a woman’s” – a very proud Xhosa.

Fun Fact: Quiet but loves a good party 😉

Scott – Qualified Plumber / Operations manager / Construction manager

Scott is one of the spear heads within the company. Heading up the whole construction division and operations of the entire company. He likes work done on site and at our headquarters done with the highest standard and best quality products. Scotty packs a large punch on plumbing and electrical knowledge and is continuously staying ahead in the game when it comes to plumbing technology.  .

Fun Fact: Scott has a big heart for Jesus.

Bruce – Qualified Plumber / Construction lead plumber.

Bruce is a very experienced qualified plumber, been in the game for 10 years. He is a fantastic teacher bring out the best in our apprentices and making sure the learn the best possible way on how to do plumbing.

Fun Fact: He is known for his famous saying – “Proper planning provides the perfect plumbing product.” His calls it the 6 most important “p’s” of plumbing.

Tyron – Apprentice plumber

A sharp, smart young man with a heart of gold, playful personality and the pride of Lion. Take his job and his role at Trojan very seriously. He loves to learn and is keen to grow as much as possible. 1 month into the job he was already driving 1 of the vehicles following a calendar and managing clients. When he qualifies, he’s going to be an awesome all rounder.

Fun Fact: Tyron is a part time DJ performing at some huge events.

Ibrahim – Apprentice construction plumber

A soft natured person that loves to work. High energy level that never wavers. Ibrhim will work until you have to tell him to stop, even when night is looming. His is a pleasure to have.

Fun Fact: Ibrahim is a Malawian international, that has come to Cape Town to become a qualified plumber.

Jonathan – Apprentice plumber

Jono aka the pocket rocket. Dynamite does come in small packages when it comes to Jono. He has a keen readiness to go and get the job done. He learns quickly and has a natural form when it comes to plumbing. Jono will make a good all round plumber when he qualifies and is a big assit to our team.

Fun Fact: Jono loves fast cars 😉

Toni – Office Administrator

Arriving at work early every morning, Toni runs the administration side of Trojan Plumbing with an iron fist. Being very sports orientated and driven, nothing slips past her analytical eyes. All details are documented, systems in place and everything is done by the book. Being a devoted mother to 3, Toni also provides a motherly role to the team.

Fun Fact: National Gymnastics champion at the age of 13 and 18

Bongani – Qualified Plumber

“Bongs”  or “Bongi” added such great value to our team. He was hard working, reliable and always – always on time. Always very proud of the work he did and liked having things done with a high standard. Bongs was strong minded, setting short term goals for himself and making sure he grows as a qualified plumber. 

Bong unfortunately passed away in 2016, he is greatly missed and will always be a Trojan.
